This Video Challenge is open to everyone. But, like all challenges, there are a few guidelines and restrictions.
Please make sure you go through this entire section before you create your winning film!

RULES & ELIGIBILITY
RULES

The Official Rules for the Video Challenge are binding and need to be followed to be eligible for the prizes:
  • The video submission must have relevance to one of the following themes;
    a. India Is Colourful
    b. India Is Creative
    c. India Is Wherever You Are
  • The entire duration of the video submission should be UNDER 3 minutes and
    should have a title.
  • Participants must be 18 years and above on the start date of the
    competition (1st September 2011).
  • Participants can submit only 1 video entry per category (Colourful, Creative
    and Wherever You Are).
  • The video entries can be in any style. It can be fiction, animation,
    documentary, live action, stop motion etc.
  • Contestants must ensure that due credit is given to the artist/musician
    and composer of the song(s) that are used in any of the videos.
  • Each video submission must be respectful towards India.
  • The videos can be created in ANY Language. However, they must
    have English subtitles for standardization.
  • Participants should not support or plug any product, brand, group or
    organization
    that they are or have been involved with.
  • All the footage and content used in the videos must be after the year 2000.
    The content should NOT be older than 11 years.




ELIGIBILITY

• Contestants must be at least 18 years old on the date of commencement of the contest.
• A video submission must be an original video short created by the submitter. All videos should have been made during the last eleven years (since 2000).
• The person submitting the video will be considered the contestant and will be the only person eligible to compete for the prize. Using duplicate accounts to submit more than the allowed number of films will result in disqualification of all films.
• The following individuals are not eligible to enter the contest: employees, consultants, directors, representatives and officers of the contest sponsors and, platform sponsor, and their families. Participating individuals and organizations, the Indian government, contractors of the Indian government; or distribution agencies, web design agencies, advertising agencies, fulfillment agencies, as well as judging and contest agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this contest and the immediate family members (spouse, recognized partner, parent, child, sibling and spouse or "step" of each) and those living in the same households of each such individual are also ineligible.
